I was a Technical Director at News10. I had been working there since 1980. Technical Directors mix video and graphics on the air. They also keep their eyes open for directors who may be busy looking at their script. In simpler terms, I put the pictures and everything else you see on air during live newscasts and live events. This is all done through a video console called a switcher. I finally left News 10 after 26 years. I'm in a transition phase now.
